Lots of Flowers

Of all different types!

Two quickie cards, using flower stickers to make toppers - I want to get a stock of cards then try and sell a few, starting with a basket in the canteen at work.

The big twill flower was made using a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers, and is my first attempt at a twisted easel card.

Finally, I tried a resist - technique stamped my images in clear versamark, and heat embossed with clear powder before inking with Distress Old Paper for the background, and Big n Juicy Spice for the main image.

Lots of different techniques tried, and all fun!

Birthday for a bloke - Fancy Folds

Latest card is for a friend's birthday at week, he's a typical bloke who loves his cars, which meant that this decoupage was perfect.  Teamed it with the Allsorts Challenge this week, which is Fancy Folds - I love tri shutter cards!  The look really impressive, but one you get the hang of them - and a good score board (Thank You, Martha Stewart!) they're quite straightforward!

New Year, New Look

The fab people at Basic Grey have some blog backgrounds for free download, so I decided to give my blog a new look - along with the annual resolution of updating more often!

Bumper crop to add today, with half a dozen thank you cards for friends at work, and a card for a  friend's daughter's birthday.

I would like to submit any and all of them for the Allsorts Challenge 84 - Thank You - but my chosen one for entry would be the Bagpuss one!

Sugar Nellie's new Simply Sassy stamps are fab, and I used one for this card for my friend's daughter.  And it will be coming back out later in the year for my two older nieces!

Papers and butterfly are by Craftwork Cards, stamp is Pillow Talk by Krista Smith for Sugar Nellie, and coloured with Promarkers.
